A weekend immersion in Capoeira Angola & Caboclo dance!

Join us for a weekend immersion into the rich cultural heritage of African-Brazilian music, dance, and spirituality: CURRUPIO! Workshops will be led by the talented Mestre Cabello, featuring special guests Ya Rita Silva, Professor Avi Henn & Ana Rouxinol Costa. The event will be held at the stunning Ananda  Ashram in upstate New York, offering a peaceful and natural setting for our learning, exploration & time spent in community. Three vegetarian meals (vegan upon request) per day are provided by the Ashram creating an experience that will be nourishing for both your body and your mind!

This event promises to be an unforgettable experience for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of the rituals & principle of Capoeira Angola, as well as the traditional dance of the Caboclo and the connection between body awareness, music, and ritual in Afro-Brazilian culture.
