Capoeira Angola

Capoeira Angola is a Brazilian art form from the African diaspora that combines elements of dance, martial arts, acrobatics, music, ritual and culture. Consider the art form as an inspiration to and broadening of what your sense of movement and music are. Delve into this dynamic practice to develop mobility, strength, flexibility, musicality, self-confidence and community!

Capoeira Angola Classes 

Angola BKLYN classes consist of a warm-up, cumulative skill-based practice, cool down and music practice. After your first trial class, we require a two month commitment (2x/week) in order to set the foundation of basics that will allow you to accompany our ongoing classes.

All levels are welcome. Please wear comfortable pants, a t-shirt that you can tuck in and low-soled sneakers (i.e., not too much padding/traction).
